Beyonce Knowles is going to adopt her husband Jay-Z’s surname. The songstress and her rapper partner will take on each others’ surnames in order to keep Beyonce’s male dynasty alive. Jay-Z whose real name is Shawn Carter will now become Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is to be known as Beyonce Knowles-Carter. A source said, “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce's parents didn't have any sons and they're keen to keep the name going on, especially if they don't produce any children themselves."
